Emergency First Response
PADI Emergency First Response is an internationally recognized medical qualification that will equip you with the knowledge to manage life-threatening emergencies, with both primary and secondary care, until the Emergency Services arrive.

Primary Assessment:
A half-day course which will teach you how to handle life-threatening emergencies/injuries and the use of the AED (automatic external defibrillator).
Secondary Assessment:
A half-day course that teaches you how to handle non-life threatening emergencies/injuries.
So if you are seeking CPR/first aid training to meet a diving certification requirement, or for personal enhancement, the PADI EFR course is the course for you.
*What do I need?*
This is a course with no in-water portion, so bring yourself and your enthusiasm!
*What next?*
Taken as part of your PADI Rescue Diver course, the two certifications together form a solid, safe foundation for your continuing dive experiences.
